Teclast T40 Plus is a tablet with a 10.4 inch display and 8GB of RAM. The main feature of this tablet that would make you want to buy it is the price. In this price range it is impossible to find an alternative with 8GB RAM, FHD screen and 6600mAh battery. In addition, you get an aluminum frame and a well-performing 8-core Unisoc T618 processor.

Teclast T40 Plus has a relatively elegant design. The aluminum body gives it strength and stability. The only note is about the board and some of the photos that advertise the tablet. In most photos it is shown with a very thin board, but in real life the so-called bezel is much larger.

Teclast is a company specializing in the production of tablets. And despite its price, the T40 Plus is quite high quality. Very few tablets boast an aluminum frame, in most cases it is plastic. The company itself has been on the market for many years and manages to produce some of the cheapest but high-quality tablets you can buy today.

Here I would like to distinguish the sound quality of this tablet. The two loudspeakers located at the bottom of the widest part of the tablet produce incredibly loud and high-quality sound. Even at the lowest or highest level, the sound quality is stable and without distortion.

Teclast T40 Plus has all the features you need from a tablet in this price range – large and bright display with Full HD resolution, the ability to insert a SIM card, headphone jack, Android 11 operating system with the ability to update and much more . In general, you will find everything you need in this tablet. Only features such as wireless charging or 120Hz refresh are missing from this tablet. But anyway, such features are inherent in tablets of a much higher price range. Not to mention that with the T40 Plus you get performance that would be envied by tablets with twice the price.

Pros
Pro: 8GB RAM
Pro: Full HD display
Pro: SIM card
Pro: Aluminum frame
Cons
Con: Battery performance could be better

In my opinion, the price and performance offered by Teclast T40 Plus surpasses many of the tablets in the high class. Even flagship tablets have less RAM than the T40 Plus. The tablet itself feels stable in the hands, reacts very quickly to commands and so far I have not had a single problem with it after nearly 6 months of use. The tablet receives regular updates on the Android system and behaves very stable. The screen is super bright and even on the sunniest day you can use it outside. The sound is also remarkable, and the location of the speakers is great, considering that you will mainly use it in a landscape position.

My only complaint is that the battery can last a little longer. Don’t get me wrong, the tablet will be able to spend up to 6-8 hours in the brightest light on the screen. But given that I’ve had a lot of smaller Samsung tablets that last 10-12 hours, I think the Teclast T40 Plus could also perform better in this regard.
